Who is The Mysterious Muse?
Hello, my name is Chereen. I am a self taught artist who loves to experiment and dabble in various forms of creativity. My love for art began at a young age with nature and fantasy being my biggest influences. I work in acrylic paint for its versatility and convenience and I use intuitive techniques when creating. My paintings exhibit themes of contrasting light and darkness, symbolizing my journey through PTSD. Painting has served as a form of art therapy, which has brought healing to me over the years. It is my desire to be a muse for others and to convey a sense of hope and beauty even in the darkest of times.
I am here to share how art is teaching me to heal, to experiment without judgement and to just have fun and I want to inspire others to do the same.

Chereen's art is breathtaking. Her night skies remind me of my backpacking trips where the stars are so glorious that I can't help but stare at them in awe. She is able to capture the majesty of the stars and the marble swirls of the ocean. She is able to captivate you with her imagination and perspective.
